The Dream Mill brings together highly skilled experts with many years of research experience working with different audiences and the communications industry. Our team's experience in research, psychology and the community provide the specialist facilitation skills and hands-on approach needed for working with a wide range of people. Our backgrounds in the media mean we understand the wider strategic and creative context into which qualitative research fits. Depending on the size and scope of each project we collaborate with an international team of research associates.

Michael.jpg Michael Muntinga
Michael is one of The Dream Mill's senior researchers and facilitators, with a vast experience of communications and consultative research. With a Masters in Communication and Design, Michael has worked in the areas of corporate communication, brand management and CSR for a variety of international corporations. He has a unique ability to understand the core potential of creative ideas that leads deep insight and understanding to inform campaign strategies.

Andrew.jpg Andrew McDowell
Andrew is one of The Dream Mill's senior consultants, and his primary focus is on the NGO and social sectors. Previously a senior lecturer in psychology he brings a broad knowledge of psychological motivations for behaviour and a rigorous academic approach. He has undertaken many international consultancies for the charitable and NGO sector, and specialises in large group facilitation, problem solving and strategic thinking for international consultancies.

Jo has a Masters in Development Management and has worked on Business Development with Oxfam International, and as Director of Marketing and Communications for i-genius. International experience includes working for Future Hope in India and Rainforest Concern in Ecuador. Her role with The Dream Mill focuses on Project Management and Business Development and she brings a deep understanding of social marketing approaches and innovative participatory strategies.

Peter has a broad experience and understanding of the business sector. Formerly a Director for a number of international financial institutions, his business acumen provides an excellent basis for developing strategic thinking and organisational change practices. Peter's primary role within The Dream Mill is a consultant and facilitator for projects involving the business community, with a special interest in Corporate Social Responsibility.

Hazel is an expert in ethnicity, inclusion and creative facilitation. Her background is in creative arts and theatre and she now uses these skills to encourage authentic dialogue and creative expression for community based consultation projects. Her primary role at The Dream Mill is in facilitation and research for work with culturally diverse audiences.

Marisa is a coach and trainer with a background in psychotherapy, and is the Director of Inside Out Coaching. Marisa brings a sensitive and respectful approach to one-to-one research methodologies and can encourage so called 'hard-to-reach' and 'senior' audiences to share their opinions openly and authentically. Marisa also has specific skills for the recruitment of high profile audiences.
